An old Bishopville building is home to a store unlike any you have ever experienced. Gift shop, furniture store, local history museum, and art gallery, it is all these things. There is an inventory here found nowhere else. Presented with an opportunity to make a personal connection to heirloom quality pieces that will honor our heritage and enrich your family’s lives for generations to come, you will carefully select your pieces created by more than 68 fine woodworkers, artisans and artists.
The backbone of our store is products hand made from lumber which is sawn from ‘old growth sinker’ logs recovered from the muddy, dark bottoms of South Carolina rivers and swamps. These logs were lost over 125 years ago as they were transported on our waterways and were recovered with SCUBA by owner Alec Blalock and crews over the last seven years. Other items are made from varied natural raw materials, with an emphasis on regional sources.
Our desire is to become ‘The Go To Store’ for YOU, whether you are a guy creating a man cave, a homemaker wishing to upscale your home, a shopper looking for that special gift, or a professional interior designer. If you love something you see here, but desire it to be a slightly different size, our collective members can custom create it for you. Come see us and we promise
“You will love the 'nature' of our store”
